10月26日下午，本次会议的主要内容之一——第一期“储能科学与技术讲习班”开讲，此次讲习班由中科院物理所的李泓研究员及中科院工程热物理研究所的陈海生研究员主讲，华中科技大学王康丽教授主持。李泓研究员介绍了化学储能的相关科学问题，陈海生研究员对物理储能技术进行了介绍。这期讲习班增进了著名专家学者与莘莘学子的面对面交流，受到了与会代表的一致好评。储能大咖们通过传道、授业、解惑，着力培养青年储能人才，开启了“全国储能科学与技术大会”开设储能讲习班的新篇章。会议期间还召开了两个专委会的工作会议。

本届全国储能科学与技术大会的一大特色为首次由两个跨行业的专委会联合主办，这将促进不同学科之间的交叉融合，组织了从物理储能到化学储能、从基础科学到工程应用等方面的报告交流，以储能科学与技术讲习班、大会报告和分论坛等形式，为参会代表提供了交流经验、分享研究成果、共商发展的平台。另外，此会议在时隔5年后重新回归校园召开，即使是周末也吸引了众多的高校师生前来参会，为同学们与著名业界专家的交流和储能后备人才的培养创造了机会。会议组织的“青年储能科学家论坛”和“储能科学与技术讲习班”对培养储能青年才俊必将起到积极的作用。也必将推动华中科技大学电气与电子工程学院在储能领域的学科建设、科学研究和人才培养。
会议的顺利召开对研讨适应中国国情的储能体系推进、提高储能装备制造技术和应用技术、提升储能科技界创新能力也将起到积极的助推作用。
